Project Overview

Manhattan Detention Center: Design Build

High-rise dismantlement within a highly populated urban area. The project utilized a design-build delivery method and included a patent-pending scaffold system to safely execute high-rise demolition in a dense city environment.

The work required protection and monitoring of active railroad infrastructure, coordination with local businesses and community boards, and approvals by the Public Design Commission (PDC).
