Safety Commitment

Safety Is More Than a Priority—It's Our Culture

At Gramercy Group, safety is the foundation of everything we do. Protecting the health and well-being of our employees, clients, subcontractors, and the communities in which we work is our highest responsibility.
Every project begins with a comprehensive safety plan and an unwavering commitment to ensuring that every person returns home safely at the end of each day.
Our safety culture is built on preparation, communication, accountability, and continuous improvement. Site-specific safety plans, job hazard analyses, and daily pre-task meetings ensure that potential hazards are identified and addressed before work begins.
Technology is also an essential part of our commitment to safety. Through our GRAX fleet management system, every piece of equipment is inspected daily, with inspections, preventive maintenance, and service records digitally tracked to help ensure our fleet is operating safely, reliably, and in full compliance before it reaches the jobsite.
HCSS Safety, Haystack and Raken help track employee training certifications as well as streamline sharing site safety observations and speedy close outs of any issues if they arise. This ongoing investment ensures our workforce is prepared to perform every task safely and efficiently.
Our commitment to safety is reflected in our performance. With a Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR/TCIR) of 0.57* and an Experience Modification Rate (EMR) of 0.69*, comprehensive daily inspections, ongoing training, and a culture that empowers every employee to speak up and stop work when necessary, we continually strive to exceed industry standards.
At Gramercy Group, we don't believe in shortcuts or compromises when it comes to safety. It is a shared responsibility embraced by every member of our organization—from leadership to the field—and it remains the cornerstone of every project we undertake.

“Our people are our greatest asset, and nothing is more important than their safety. Every project begins with a commitment to planning, communication, and accountability because we believe that every incident is preventable and every employee deserves a safe workplace.”

“Safety isn't just part of what we do—it defines how we do it.”
