ADA Elevator Installation at 59th Street Station
The project included the installation of three new ADA hydraulic elevators at the 59th Street, 4th Avenue subway station in Brooklyn, providing full accessibility improvements within an active transit station environment.
Construction activities were performed within densely populated residential neighborhoods and alongside active railroad operations requiring extensive coordination with local businesses, municipal events, and transit operations.
The team successfully achieved two early finish milestones, including substantial completion nine months ahead of schedule.
